Family’s Diplomas
It was the year 1962 when Helmut and Charlotte Lein arrived in Canada from Schwartzenberg near Dresden (Saxony) Germany. Their first job was at “Bittner’s” a famous meat and deli store. About a year later they opened their first store on Lakeshore Boulevard West near Kipling.

With the help of son Dietmar and his wife Gerda they managed to create a great reputation based on integrity and quality in the community.

The 3rd generation Lein son Frank was born in 1968 and went to Germany for a training and became a master at his chosen craft. Famous for an outstanding catering business throughout Ontario, some of the events catered annually are horse shows at the Pan Am games, Caledon equestrian Centre , Toronto International Airshow, CNE, Royal Winter Fair, German Canadian Club HANSA, The Beer Store, Home Depot.
